My husband and I moved from the northeast US to Alva a little over a year ago. We have tried countless other pizzerias/restaurants, but have not had much luck with finding a maker who met our needs. We almost accepted the fact that our pizza eating days were a thing of the past. DHOP came recommended by several locals and we finally decided to give it a try. Tonight I drove 30 minutes to pick up our jumbo pie with sausage and extra mozzarella cheese, then spent 15 minutes trying to find a parking spot, BUT IT WAS WORTH EVERY MINUTE!!! We were both so satisfied after trying our first slice- we knew we found a winner and we would not need to search for a decent pizza maker any longer! The ingredients were clearly so fresh that if you slap them they would slap you back, and the crust was not too thick and not too thin and cooked to perfection. The staff was very friendly and thorough with making sure that we had any and all utensils and or fixings that we needed. The pie was huge and worth every cent we spent. We highly recommend DHOP, especially for those who come to Fort Myers from the north east US in search of compatible pizza.
Thank you DHOP - just when we thought we would never find decent pizza in Southwest Florida, you came through above and beyond our expectations.

I'm a bit of a pizza snob, and DHOP did not disappoint. Huge pies, excellent crust, fabulous flavor.
This, my friends, is pizza as it should be. Deviate from the norm of plain cheese or pepperoni. Try some of their specialty pies. You will not be disappointed. You will, however, be very full, as DHOP does not skimp on toppings.
Excellent pizza. Great service. So worth the drive to get here from where we were staying in Bonita Springs. -

DHOP as the locals call it is the best authentic NYC pizza around! Greasy--but delicious--slices that fold for the perfect handheld experience. So Yummy. It gets BUSY here so expect it to be loud with wall-to-wall people. Once you have the pizza you'll understand why.

Simply put this was the best veggie pizza I've ever had.
It was the thinnest, crispiest, pizza crusts and the toppings we're so flavorful. It had very light cheese. It was like a puttanesca spread!
I have been to dhop several times over the years and really feel the pizza has improved year-over-year. Can't wait to go back!
